HOW TO REGISTER FOR EPIC SCHOOLKIDS:

New to Epic SchoolKids in 2024/25

Are you new to Epic SchoolKids in 2024/25?  Visit a Front Range Epic Mountain Gear location to register in-person*. Your child/children must be present at the time of registration, and you will need to provide visual verification of your child's school grade during your visit. Acceptable documents include a school report card, school I.D., school transcript, passport, or birth certificate. 

You can make an appointment here by selecting the "NEW Epic SchoolKids Registration" option.  

*Enrollment for the Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack is not available at the Frisco Epic Mountain Gear location.

The Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack is a free program for children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th Grade during the 2024/25 winter season. This program provides four free days of skiing and riding at each of the state’s top-ranked resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte.

The Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack is a free program for children enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th Grade during the 2024/25 winter season. This program provides four free days of skiing and riding at each of the state’s top-ranked resorts: Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte.

Are you new to Epic SchoolKids in 2024/25? Visit a Front Range Epic Mountain Gear location to register in person. Renew your child for 2024/25: If your child/children have had an Epic SchoolKids Pack in the prior year, send an email to epicschoolkids@vailresorts.com and provide the following information in the email: parent or guardian name, parent or guardian date of birth, email address, phone number, physical address, child/children's name, child/children's date of birth. 

Once you have emailed your information to epicschoolkids@vailresorts.com, you will need to make an appointment to visit a Front Range Epic Mountain Gear store* to provide visual verification of your child's school grade. Please wait to schedule your appointment until after you receive a confirmation email receipt indicating your child's Epic SchoolKids Pack has been processed.

How often can my child use their Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack?
The Epic Schoolkids Colorado Pack provides 4 days of skiing or snowboarding at each of the state’s top-ranked resorts; Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Crested Butte. Packs are valid for up to 4 days at each resort and are subject to peak restricted dates.
What grade must my child be in to qualify for Epic SchoolKids?

Your child must be enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th Grade during the 2024/25 winter season to qualify for the 2024/25 Epic SchoolKids program. 

Children who were enrolled in 5th Grade during the 2023/24 school year do not qualify. 

Pre-K children are not eligible for Epic SchoolKids.

How do I receive my child’s Epic SchoolKids Pack?

New to Epic SchoolKids: If you are registering for Epic SchoolKids for the first time, your Pass will be printed at the store when you visit to register. 

Renewing to Epic SchoolKids: If you are renewing an Epic SchoolKids Pass, your child’s Epic SchoolKids Pass card from the prior season will be reloaded when the registration is processed.

How do I book the free "first-timer" lesson & rental? (Colorado)

Epic School Kids offers one free first-timer beginner lesson and rental package for any participating child who has never skied or snowboarded. 

The lesson must be booked in advance. Please call at least 2 weeks in advance of your preferred date to ensure availability!

The free first-timer beginner lesson and rental package must be redeemed as a package and is limited to one total per child (not one per participating resort). Lesson is subject to availability and is only offered at select times throughout the season.

- Monday, December 2, 2024 – Saturday, December 14, 2024  
- Monday, January 6, 2025 – Friday, January 17, 2025  
- Tuesday, January 21, 2025 – Friday, January 31, 2025 

Is the purchase of an adult Pass required?

No. The Epic SchoolKids Colorado Pack is a FREE program for children who are enrolled in Kindergarten through 5th Grade during the 2024/25 winter season. No purchase is required.
